The relationships established are with architects, national food chains, and private food establishments, to develop preliminary to final floor plans, along with electrical, plumbing, and special condition rough-in drawings, which turn ideas into reality. All of the final plans are checked and verified to insure that they meet all local and national codes as they relate to the food service industry. Furthermore, specification books are provided to the client with a factory specification sheet accompanied with a cover sheet reflecting the item description, primary and alternate manufacturers, quantities, current model numbers, itemized accessories and critical mechanical information. With the extensive dealer background the principles bring to the company, the equipment selection process will be made easier as Savoy/Brown educates the client. Primary and alternate manufacturers will be selected for each piece of equipment to meet the operational and financial requirements established by the client during criteria meetings. After the project is finalized, Savoy/Brown can also save customers time and money by bidding the equipment and furniture package to a minimum of three regional equipment dealers. After the bids are received by S/B, a spreadsheet is assembled in an itemized format reflecting each unit and total price. S/B will also provide the client with a background check of the bidding dealers, thus making the final selection an easy and sound business decision.
